Jessica Donovan was born and raised in Severna Park, Maryland.
From a young age, Jessica harbored a deep passion for animals and knew she wanted to find a career working with them. At 18 years old, she moved to Cape Cod where she adopted her beloved dog, Minnie, a black & white Pit Bull Terrier from the MSPCA in Boston, MA. After working 6 years in customer service/retail, she decided to pursue her passion for animals and joined the veterinary industry in 2016.
In July of 2017, Jessica joined the Tenth Street Animal Hospital team as a Veterinary Assistant and then joined our management team in 2021. She has always been a huge advocate for all bully breeds with her favorite being French Bulldogs and Pit Bulls! She has experienced many aspects of veterinary medicine including general practice, general surgery, and emergency medicine. Jessica enjoys the fast-paced nature of veterinary medicine as well as the ability to help any animal in need. She is very driven and seeks any opportunity to expand her knowledge. She is honored to be a part of the TSAH team and committed to providing the highest standard of compassionate care for our clients and patients.
When Jessica is not at the office, she spends her time with her husband, daughter, their three dogs, Minnie, Lady, and Max and one cat, Pumpkin. She loves gardening and exploring the outdoors with her family.
